"Irish"
.... Irish is
a very handsome one year old male Crossbred Foxhound. His mother is Irma, one of our
Piedmont hounds. His was fostered by Bruce & Mary Rand early on, then
by Jeannine & Paul. Paul says that Irish has a white seagull on his
back somewhere.

"Duke"
This is "Duke" owned by "The Happy
Hoofer" himself. Duke is an 11 year old Canadian gelding bred by
Ross Farm Museum, out of LaGorgendiere Fox Miria and by Ross Farm
Tain Salazar. Duke's registered name is Salazar Eclat Duke.
Duke seems like a nice horse that likes to jump despite that fact
that his owner doesn't. |

"Sergio"
The first thing you should notice
about me is my gorgeous big floppy ears that I have inherited from my
mother Jenga. I also have her beautiful voice and keen nose. My father
is Kibbles, and my adopted parents are Paul & Jeannine. I am the hound
with a lot of black on my back and a very narrow blaze with a lot of
white over my muzzle. I can usually be spotted running with the
leaders. In the photo on the right I am probably getting in trouble
for stepping ahead of everyone but I am only a year old and its so
hard to contain my enthusiasm. Give me a kiss next time you see
me, I am very friendly and loveable!

"Duncan" is an 11
year old bay gelding. He's one-half Hannovarian (by LA Express),
one-quarter TB and one-quarter Cleveland Bay (out of
Canterbury
Tales). Julie (Lori's sister) competed Canterbury for a short
period of time until she was retired due to injury. She was sold
as a broodmare to Katharine Diefenbach with "first option" on any
colts. Duncan was her first foal and Lori purchased him as a
yearling. With some guidance from Susan & Lorne Fraser, Lori
broke Duncan when he was four. He has been competing at local
horse trials and fox hunts since the age of six. Duncan also
spent one season eventing in New Jersey with Julie during her
'horse-less' year.

similar. To tell them apart remember that Indy has a wider blaze on
his head and "Ichy" has a unique black spot on his right side. Indy is
a one year old male Crossbred Foxhound. His mother is Irma, one of our
Piedmont hounds. His was fostered by Lori Ansems and blended into our
pack this summer.

(from the Piedmont Hunt)

Sailor's is usually very obedient and is always in thick of
things. His strengths include his speed, intelligence and keen nose.

looks.
