Hwy 101
(From Halifax)
- Get off Hwy 101 at Exit 4 (St. Croix)
The Avon Emporiums is 26 kms from exit 4
- Turn right onto Hwy 1 (Toward Mt.
Uniacke)
- Proceed approx 2-3 kms until you see
communications towers on your left, turn left just after towers onto Hwy 215
East toward Brooklyn
- Once in Brooklyn you will come to a
"Y" in the road (Irving Sta. & Monument in front of you), proceed to the
right on Hwy 215
- Go approximately 15 kms on Hwy 215 East
- At approximately 10 kms you will pass
a gas station and convenience store on your right, keep going
- Once in Summerville you will see The
Avon Emporium & Shipwright Inn on your left.
- If you pass Loyal Hill Farm (Home of
Karen King) on your left, you have gone 1-2 kms too far.
Hwy 101
(From Annapolis Valley)
- Get off Hwy 101 at Exit 5 (Windsor,
Three Mile Plains)
- Turn left onto Hwy 14 toward Brooklyn
and Rawdon
- Proceed straight for about 3 miles
passing Gates Canteen at corner of Wentworth Rd.
- Turn left over new bridge immediately
after Stirlings Farm Market
- Turn right at end of road
(convenience store on your left).
- Go to end of this road where it
merges with Hwy 215 and turn/bare left (East).
- At approximately 9 kms you will pass
a gas station and convenience store on your right, keep going another 5 or 6
kms
- Once in Summerville you will see The
Avon Emporium & Shipwright Inn on your left.
- If you pass Loyal Hill Farm (Home of
Karen King) on your left, you have gone 1-2 kms too far.
From Hwy 14
(Elmsdale / Truro /
Stewiacke)
- Follow Hwy 14 into Brooklyn passed
high schools
- At McLean's Esso (on your right),
turn right and proceed East on Hwy 215
- At approximately 9.5 kms you will
pass a gas station and convenience store on your right, keep going about
another 5 or 6 kms into Summerville
- Once in Summerville you will see The
Avon Emporium & Shipwright Inn on your left.
- If you pass Loyal Hill Farm (Home of
Karen King) on your left, you have gone 1-2 kms too far.
