Janet Higgins

Profile:
 Janet was raised at Twin Hill Farm, a family-operated beef farm in the Musquodoboit Valley of N.S. When she wasn’t busy working on the family farm she exhibited cattle and horses in 4-H. Janet completed the pre-veterinary program at NSAC in Truro, and went on to earn her DVM, graduating with the class of 2001 from the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. Janet spent a year practicing mixed animal medicine caring for both large and small animals in Southern Alberta, prior to joining our staff at Avon Animal Hospital. Janet and her cat, ‘Sage’ reside in Windsor.
