Proximo [Sold] 2003 Bay Gelding
Embryo transfer technology was used in order to produce this remarkable gelding with a pedigree of sport horse champions. As you can see from his pedigree, Proximo is mainly from powerful European lines. However, in breeding this horse, we made sure he had just enough "blood" (25% thoroughbred) to make him responsive, athletic, and agile enough for the junior or amateur rider. Of equal importance, Proximo is extremely quiet, friendly, intelligent and willing to please. Proximo has been well handled, ties, longes and trailers, no problem. He respects electric fencing and has been raised with other horses on the lush rolling pastures of Nova Scotia. Proximo is especially eye catching with four white socks and a distinguished blaze. He has a medium build and is already ~ 16.1 hands. Proximo is sound and healthy with no vices. He is currently being ridden undersaddle and is starting cross rails. He is as safe and sensible to ride as he is to work around. He has three very comfortable gaits, including an exceptional canter. Proximo displayed very good form over fences when free jumped as a yearling (see video clip). Since then, he has enjoyed jumping obstacles on his own while turned out. He is an excellent hunter, jumper or equitation prospect. Now 2 ½, Proximo will soon be ready to show baby green hunters. Don't let this one slip you by! Please email for more recent video.
