This is a well put together mare, with lots
of substance and beautiful movement. She has a remarkable pedigree that was only possible
to produce via embryo transfer. Bloodlines include Voltaire, Watzmann, Grannus & Argentinus,
all highly desirable sporthorse lines. Both her dam and sire reflect
generations of talent in their own careers. Virginia is main studbook
Hanoverian mare and consistently produces very beautiful, athletic and
extremely sensible foals. Most recently, as a three year old, her 2007
colt Legendary (aka "Ludger"), consistently pinned champion or reserve
in the pre green and low hunters his first year out.

Virginia has primarily been used primarily as a broodmare. She was broke as
a two-year old and has had intermittent training in between foals.
Now that we have Virginia's oldest daughter to carry on her bloodlines, she
has entered more consistent training and is being offered her for sale. Her
fantastic mind is readily apparent as she safely & sensibly encounters any
new situation on trails and around the farm; she is perfect for the junior
or adult amateur rider. She loads, stands quietly on the trailer and
ships easily. She is good for the farrier to trim and for vet to work
on. She has always been sound & healthy.
She is comfortable, easy to ride, has a great work ethic, and is a very
quick study. Virginia is a beautiful horse with qualities to make an
A-circuit hunter, a dressage prospect, or simply the best pleasure horse one
could ever own.
