Carmen Reg Hanoverian 2008 Filly by Clinton
We were fortunate several years ago to flush an embryo from a gorgeous imported daugher of Ramiro Z , know as Merdante. This gave us the opportunity to produce a lovely filly for our breeding program whom we call Emme. Emme was then bred to Heartbreaker, one of Europe's top jumper sires, to produce another mare we call Havana. Havana, quickly made a name for herself as she became one of the highest scoring fillies on the BWP North American tour. She was also readily accepted by the Hanoverian Verband as a main studbook mare. Havana has since produced Evita, by Escudo I, who ill also be kept in our breeding program. In the spring of 2007 we took note of the stallion Cornet Obolensky. At that time, Cornet now world reknown, was an up and coming jumper and also proving himself as one of Europe's top sires. Given the excellent results realized when crossing Clinton to Heartbreaker mares (such as Cornet Obolensky), we decided to cross Clinton with our mare Havana. In 2008, Carmen was born and we were not disappointed. Carmen is pretty, correct and has incredible movement. We invite you to compare her pedigree to that of Cornet Obolensky, and note the similarities going back to Ramiro mares. We have high hopes for this filly and look forward to her foals.
