Dr. Kendra Simons
Dr. Kendra Simons was born in Bermuda. She attended Dalhousie University in Halifax and finished her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. Dr. Simons studied Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University and did her clinical studies at the University of Georgia. Dr. Simons has dedicated a great deal of time to volunteer work. She spent time in South Africa working at an orphanage and building enclosures at a wildlife park. Dr. Simons also worked at a spay/neuter clinic in Nicaragua. She has returned to Nova Scotia to practice at Avon Animal Hospital. She is passionate about surgery and exotic animal medicine having grown up with guinea pigs, rabbits, and chinchillas. She currently has 2 beautiful Cocker Spaniels, Honey and Mocha.
