Lauren Badley

Registered Veterinary Technician
Lauren enthusiastically joined the Avon team in 2019. She was born in the American mid-west, and lived just outside of Ottawa for a few years before moving to Halifax for school. Fully bilingual, Lauren is a graduate of the RVT program at the Maritime Business College. She has fostered for local animal rescues, actively volunteers for Hope for Wildlife, and is mother to fur-children Penny, Fernando and Fern (Fern is pictured here!). Lauren comes by her love of animals honestly having had a great grandmother who worked for the equivalent of the SPCA in London, England, and growing up surrounded by family with rescue animals.

Dear Clients,

With recent changes to restrictions on businesses, we can continue providing our full range of services, under certain restrictions. As our province enters the next phase of the reopening plan, we have some updates to share with you about our safety measures.

We are continuing to see all cases by appointment only including pets in need of vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, heartworm testing, spays and neuters, dental services, parasite prevention, and more.



We are OPEN with the following hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 am - 7:30 pm*
Saturday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sunday: Closed

*On weekdays we will be closed for 1 hour in the afternoon in order to catch up on communications with our clients. This is a temporary measure. Thank you for your understanding.
