Equine Elective Surgery Services
Avon offers elective surgery both in-field and in-clinic. While we handle minor procedures, we refer major colics, orthopedics and more complicated surgeries to the Atlantic Veterinary College.
Ambulatory and Emergency Service
Our equine team is available 24/7. We know that horses get sick and equine emergencies occur at the drop of a hat, and we will be there for our clients. An Avon Equine veterinarian is available by phone all hours to assist in any situation.
Externships
We are pleased to offer veterinary student externships. Over the years, students from the Atlantic Veterinary College, Ontario Veterinary College, and other academic institutions have completed rotations at Avon Animal Hospital.
